Do something and, sometimes, something good happens

Freelancing can be tough. You have to find the work and execute it at the same time. Early on, my flow of clients dried up. So I knocked on doors. Every one I could find, all day. Some of them responded positively. None of it produced a dollar. I got home, and the phone rang. An old client, with a job, and he had nothing to do with any door I knocked on.

There have been many, many, many, many times when I took action and something good, completely unrelated, happened.

I don’t know why, but it seems that fortune finds the Doers.
